Navajo Hogans

 
 
 
 


The hogan is the traditional home of the Navajo people. Primarily built of logs and packed with mud on the outside, it is energy efficient.

It is rarely used as a home now, but the hogan is considered a sacred space, and a revival is underway to keep them in the culture.
