chilled out of the sky
Just a few notes --mostly wildlife and nature--maybe a bit of musing about life in general

trees and vistas
The tallest tree in the first photo is a sycamore I planted 30 years ago.
It came in a packet of bare rooted native seedling trees from our state forestry service. It was probably a foot tall then. It
amazes me how much it's grown!
The second photo is of the vistas that return after the hay is cut and baled. It's been first a very wet spring and then hot summer. It was a jungle out there.
We can breathe again

fall morning
A bit cooler in morning for the last few days so I was able to walk some.
I love the pattern on the discarded hay tool.
The early morning sun shines through the mature grass waiting to be cut.
Cypress vine blooms on the pasture gate attracting migrating hummingbirds that guard it like gold.
