looking north

After several days of fiercely cold temps we have retuned to mild temperatures in the 70's.

The sun came out for a while and colored  the tan landscape.

Two white crowned sparrows, winter visitors, sang from the tree top near the deck and hooded mergansers swam in the pond.

I used the mild weather to cut back frozen perennials and plant sweet pea seeds.
